FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will you be open?

Our Cottage Grove location will be temporarily closed for remodel starting November 3rd 2025. We will be building out our existing location to fit the requirements for adult use cannabis licensure. Our goal is to re-open as a fully licensed cannabis dispensary in January of 2026.

Do I need a medical card to shop at Highnorth?

No, our THC products are all compliant with both federal and state laws. We are open to the public and can serve anyone over the age of 21. You will need to bring a state issue photo ID during your visit.

Is THC legal in Minnesota?

Yes, THC is legal in Minnesota, but that doesn't mean there are not restrictions. Minnesota began the preliminary licensing process for recreational Cannabis Dispensaries in May of 2025. Licensed shops will begin to open to the public in the fall of 2025 and will continue to keep sprouting up deep into 2026.

Highnorth will be opening our first recreational cannabis dispensary in Cottage Grove, Minnesota in January of 2026. We will be remodeling our existing location in November and December 2025 and reopening in January.

We will be carrying both hemp and cannabis derived THC products. Minnesota law makers will be restricting the concentration of THC in both edibles and concentrate products like dabs and vapes, so the product we carry will need to meet those regulatory restrictions.

Hemp edibles are allowed to have 5mg of THC per piece and come in a package with a total of no more than 50mg per package.

Cannabis edibles will have a max THC concentration of 10mg per piece and will be limited to 20 pieces per package for a total of 200mg of THC per container.
