POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:

Assistant Store Manager - Cottage Grove, MN

Highnorth is a new boutique CBD retail store offering a variety of CBD and other wellness products. Ideal candidates have prior knowledge of the CBD and/or e-cigarette industry and familiarity with a variety of CBD, e-cigarette, and wellness products. The Assistant Store Manager will report directly to the store owner. Possibility for future growth with ability to manage multiple stores. This role is full time and has opportunity for PTO after 6 months. Compensation starts at $16-18/hour depending on qualifications. Opportunities for consistent raises based on performance and opportunity for annual bonus based on performance. Expected schedule Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts as necessary.

 

Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
  • Manage a staff of 1-5 employees
  • Assist with store merchandising by participating in staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise
  • Ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices
  • Properly utilize merchandise fixtures, signage, and pricing of merchandise according to established practices
  • Assist in all aspects of inventory management, including, but not limited to: proper execution of damages, register scanning, paperwork, preparation, and facility controls
  • Provide superior customer service leadership
  • Act as a role model by adhering to company procedures and policies
  • Participate in store opening and closing activities
  • Assist in the financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, company security practices, and cash management
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store
  • Provide a safe environment for customers
  • Assist in social media management
  • Maintain a high level of customer services

 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, including cashier accountability and deposit controls
  • Ability to learn and perform cash register functions
  • Ability to learn inventory managements and merchandising practices
  • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Trustworthiness in handling cash
  • Effective organization skills with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to problem solve

Sales Floor Associate - Cottage Grove, MN

Highnorth is a new boutique CBD retail store offering a variety of CBD and other wellness products. Ideal candidates have prior knowledge of the CBD and/or e-cigarette industry and familiarity with a variety of CBD, e-cigarette, and wellness products. The sales floor associate position can be part-time or full-time. Expected schedule to include evenings and weekends. Pay starts at $14-16/hour depending on experience. Opportunities for consistent raises based on performance.

 

Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with all store operations, including opening/closing, cleaning, and cash register operations
  • Maintain security of all cash
  • Handle all sales transactions while operating cash register
  • Maintain high level of customer service
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, cooperative attitude with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Assist with store merchandising by participating in staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise
  • Ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices
  • Properly utilize merchandise fixtures, signage, and pricing of merchandise according to established practices
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues that could impact productivity
  • Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and stock shelves and displays neatly to maximize visibility
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to supervisor
Qualifications
